How to make it

  • Heat the oil in the wok.
  • Fry the spring onions and garlic for 40 seconds.
  • Add the rice and stir-fry for two minutes.
  • Splash the soy sauce over the rice.
  • Pour the egg on top off the rice and mix well.
  • Serve and enjoy.

    We too eat rice for breakfast (along with every other meal). I've made fried rice for the family when too lazy to cook anything else but have never cracked the egg right into the rice. Will have to try this next time.

    we usually do have fried rice for breakfast if we have some left-overs from dinner the night before. but i usually use scrambled egg and salt. never tried breaking the egg directly into the rice.
