Many Beans Casserole

- 1/2 lb bacon diced shopping list
- 1/2 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1 cup chopped onions shopping list
- 28 oz can pork and beans shopping list
- 15 oz can lima beans, drained and rinsed shopping list
- 15 oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed shopping list
- 15 oz can butter beans, drained and rinsed shopping list
- 1/2 cup barbeque sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup kechup shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 2 Tbl prepared mustard shopping list
- 2 Tbl molasses shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp chili powder shopping list
How to make it
- In a large skillet, brown bacon, and beef.
- Drain, retaining 1 Tbl drippings.
- Cook onions in drippings until just tender.
- Transfer to a greased 2 1/2 quart baking dish.
- Add beans and mix well.
- In a small bowl, combine barbeque sauce, ketchup, sugar, brown sugar, mustard, molasses, salt and chili powder. Stir combination into beef and bean mixture.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 15 minutes.
- Variations
- Use 1 lb bulk sausage of your preference instead of bacon and ground beef.
- Or Stir 1 or 2-6.5 oz cans mushrooms stems and pieces drained, into beans and meat mixture.
