Spicy Crockpot Beef Pot Roast

- 3-4 lb pot roast, rinsed and dried with paper towels shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 small onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 (3/4 oz) package brown gravy mix shopping list
- 1/4 cup ketchup shopping list
- 1/2 cup dry red wine shopping list
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder shopping list
How to make it
- Rub roast well with salt and pepper. Place in crockpot. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast. Cook 1 hour on high, reduce setting to low, and cook an additional 8-10 hours. Remove roast and slice. Sauce may be thickened with a little flour if desired, and served over roast.
