Strawberry onion sauce

Had this while in North Carolina from a Connecticut/New York transplant. Over fish was great as was the pork roast. Weird but good.
Ingredients
- 1 pint of sliced strawberries shopping list
- 1 medium onion, sliced shopping list
- 1/4 lb salted butter shopping list
- 2 tbl sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in a cast iron pan (or anything non aluminum)
- sautee onion til just past translucent but not carmelized
- reduce heat to medium
- add sliced strawberries
- add sugar and lemon juice
- stir for 3 minutes
- Serve over catfish, pork or anything you have a hankering to try it on.
