- M&Ms, chopped candy bars, candy corn, yogurt covered raisins, chocolate and colored sprinkles, colored sugars, powdered sugar, pre-made Halloween-themed cake decorations, peanuts, raisins.. and whatever else your child can think of. (Warning: One year, we decorated the cookies at a classroom event with 32 children. One of the mothers brought small noodles and put them in a bowl in the table for the children to use. How to make it
- Monster Muffins-Color your frosting using your food coloring. Make any color you wish. The marshmallows for the bolts in the "Frankenstein" monster 's neck.
- Boo Pops-Sure, you can dip the marshmallows in melted chocolate! I use frosting because the kids can do it without making much of a mess. And its premade! Stick the lollipop stick into the end of the marshmallow and coat with the frosting.
- Roll the frosted marshmallow into bowls of loose candy chips, sprinkles, colored sugars or decorate them individually if you have the time. Orange, green and purple frosting colors are such fun to use!
- Scarecat Cookies-Frost your cookies and decorate. You can do the next step two ways.
- 1.We let the children frost them first, them make a face and sprinkle the rest of the frosting with chocolate sprinkles.
- 2. Or we let the children sprinkle over the entire frosting area and then decorate by dipping candies in frosting and "glueing" the candy decorations on after that. You'll need more tubs of frosting this way.
