PAN SEARED SALMON WITH SWEET AND SPICY ASIAN GLAZE

- MARINADE--- shopping list
- juice of 1 orange shopping list
- 3 tbs rice wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 tbs reduced sodium soy sauce shopping list
- 2 tbs olive oil shopping list
- 1 small red or green chile pepper, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 tbs grated ginger shopping list
- SALMON--- shopping list
- 4 salmon fillets shopping list
- 1/8 tsp kosher salt shopping list
- 1/8 tsp pepper shopping list
- 2 tsp olive oil shopping list
- 2 tbs cilantro leaves shopping list
How to make it
- In a shallow glass dish, combine all marinade ingredients. Add salmon and turn to coat. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 30 min. Remove salmon from marinade, reserve marinade. Sprinkle salmon with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet. Add salmon skin side down and cook 4 min. Turn salmon and cook 4 min. or until just opaque in center. Transfer salmon to a platter. Cover loosely with foil and keep warm. Discard any drippings from skillet, add marinade and cook until thickened and syrupy. Drizzle glaze over salmon and sprinkle with cilantro.
