Chicken Noodle Soup

- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1 cup diced celery shopping list
- 1/4 cup diced onion shopping list
- 12 cups water shopping list
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced carrots shopping list
- 4 cups chopped, cooked chicken shopping list
- 8 teaspoons chicken bouillon powder (or more or less to taste) shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley shopping list
- 8 ounces whole wheat egg noodles shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in a large stock pot. Add celery and onion and saute over medium-high heat until onion is translucent.
- Add chicken, carrots, water, bouillon, marjarom, pepper, bay leaf and parsley. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer 30 minutes.
- Add noodles and simmer for 10 minutes.
