Apple Lasagna

- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 cup ricotta cheese shopping list
- 1 egg, lightly beaten shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon almond extract, optional shopping list
- 2- 20 ounce cans apple pie filling shopping list
- 8 lasagna noodles, cooked, rinsed and drained shopping list
- 6 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 6 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup quick-cooking oats shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- dash ground nutmeg shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1/3 cup brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In a bowl, combine cheddar cheese, ricotta cheese, egg, white sugar and almond extract. Blend well.
- Spread 1 can of apple pie filling over the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch bakingdish.
- Layer 1/2 the noodles over the filling.
- Spread cheese mixture over the noodles.Top with remaining noodles and top with other can of apple pie filling.
- In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle on top of the apple pie filling.
- Bake at 350° for45 minutes.
- Cool 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream and 1/3 cup brown sugar.
- Blend until smooth, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- To serve, cut lasagna into squares and garnish with sour cream mixture.
