How to make it

  • In a large frying pan cook sausage, onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms until tender and sausage is no longer pink. Add garlic powder, salt, and cayenne pepper. Stir to combine. Add water. Bring to a boil. Add instant rice and parsley. Turn heat off. Cover for fifteen minutes.
  • Meanwhile stir mayonaise and parmesan together. Stir half of mayo/cheese mixture into meat mixture.
  • Spoon meat filling into halved peppers on a baking sheet or dish. Spoon remaining parmesan/mayo mixture on top of filled peppers.
  • Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes until browned on top.
