Fried Pork Chops (easy)

- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- 8 pork breakfast chops or 4 thick and sliced in half to thin (easier to slice if frozen) shopping list
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder, shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder shopping list
- 1/2 cup canola oil (or other) shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter shopping list
How to make it
- Salt and pepper both sides of the pork chops.
- Combine the flour, salt and black pepper. Dip each side of the pork chops in the flour mixture, being sure to coat completely.
- Heat the oil over medium to medium-high heat. Add the butter. when the oil mix is hot and butter melted, add no more than 4 chops to the pan at a time, being sure not to overlap them. Cook them for about 2 minutes on one side before flipping them. Continue cooking for a minute or two until chops are golden brown. The meat should not be pink when done.
- When done, set them on a paper bag / paper towel to drain while cooking the rest.
- Options: If you like spicy, you could add Cayenne pepper or tabasco sauce.
