Crockpot Creole Steak Strips

- 1 1/2 lbs. boneless round steak shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1 cup sliced celery shopping list
- 1 cup V-8 juice shopping list
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder (can use fresh) shopping list
- 1 medium green bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 1 10 oz. package frozen okra (about 1 1/2 cup) shopping list
- 1 4 oz can sliced mushrooms drained shopping list
- *can add diced tomato* shopping list
- cooked rice shopping list
How to make it
- Cut steak into strips 1/2 inch wide and 2 inches long.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Put meat in crockpot with onion, celery, juice, Worcestershire sauce and garlic.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Turn to high.
- Add peppers, partially thawed okra and mushrooms.
- Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until okra is done.
- Serve over hot cooked rice.
