Seared Ahi Tuna

- 2 ahi tuna steaks shopping list
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil shopping list
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce (reduced sodium if available) shopping list
- 1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger shopping list
- 1-2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/2 red chili, seeded and minced shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the marinade ingredients together and coat the tuna steaks with the marinade, cover tightly, and refrigerate for at least an hour.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium high to high heat. When the pan is hot, remove the tuna steaks from the marinade and sear them for a minute to a minute and a half on each side.
- Slice and serve immediately with fresh salad or other sides.
