Sombrero Pasta Salad

- 1 package spiral pasta (16 oz) shopping list
- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 3/4 c water shopping list
- 1 envelope taco seasoning shopping list
- 2 cups (8 oz) shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 lg green pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 med white onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 med tomato, chopped shopping list
- 3 green onions, chopped shopping list
- 1-2 can sliced ripe black olives, drained shopping list
- 1 bottle Catalina, Western or Southwest ranch salad dressing shopping list
- Dash cayenne pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta according to directions. In skillet, brown beef until no longer pink. Drain. Add water and taco seasoning to skillet, simmering about 10 min. Turn off heat. Rinse pasta in cold water, drain and place in serving bowl. Add beef, cheese, pepper, white onion, tomato and olives into skillet and mix well. Add this to pasta, tossing. Add salad dressing and cayenne, toss until coated. Sprinkle with green onion. Refrigerate for about an hour.
