Party Size Sour Cream Coffee Cake

- 1 lb butter- 4 sticks softened shopping list
- 4 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbs vanilla shopping list
- 6 eggs shopping list
- 5 cups flour shopping list
- 1 pint sour cream ( 2 cups ) shopping list
- 1 Tbs baking powder ( there is no baking soda in this recipe! ) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- Filling; shopping list
- 1 pint of fresh blueberries shopping list
- 1, 12 oz pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 2 Tbs white sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbs cinnamon shopping list
- 2 Tbs baking cocoa shopping list
- 2 Tbs brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans ( optional ) shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 2 Tbs white sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbs cinnaom shopping list
- 2 Tbs brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Beat softened butter with sugar until fluffy
- Beat in eggs and vanilla
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt
- Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream
- Batter with be thick
- Place 1/2 of batter in a greased and floured deep large 9 x13 or 10 x 14 pan
- Combine filling ingredients and sprinkle evenly over batter
- Place on remaining batter and spread evenly over filling with the back of a spoon
- Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle evenly over batter
- Place in center rack of preheated 325F oven
- Cake will take about 1 1/2 plus or minus hours to test done and toothpick when inserted in center will come out clean
- But all oven vary and baking times may alter
- Cool in pan
- May be frozen
