Hamburg And Gravy

Last night I was going to make a cottage pie and didn't want to turn the oven on because of the heat. So instead I made the meat and gravy and served it over mashed potatoes. Came out great and it's so easy to make.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef shopping list
- 1 medium onion, sliced shopping list
- 4 oz. button mushrooms, sliced shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 2 cups beef gravy shopping list
How to make it
- In skillet over medium heat, add mushrooms and onions
- Cook until tender
- Add ground beef, break up and cook until no longer pink
- Add gravy and heat through
- Serve over mashed potatoes

This was so good! I did use ground chicken instead of beef, and it really turned out well..such an easy comfort meal!

What a comfort meal! I never think to make this, will use grd turkey...I do believe I had this same issue of Tiger Beat! Man, talk about bring back some memories!!!
