Macaroni And Cheese

- 8 oz. elbow macaroni shopping list
- 2 C whole milk, brought just to a simmer in a small saucepan shopping list
- 3 tbsp butter shopping list
- 1/4 C flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 10 oz. cheddar cheese, grated shopping list
How to make it
- Bring a pot of water to boil.
- Boil macaroni according to pkg. directions
- Meanwhile, Make the cheese sauce.
- Melt butter in a saucepan.
- Whisk in flour, and cook roux 2-3 minutes.
- Continue whisking and slowly pour in milk.
- When sauce has thickened, remove from heat and stir in cheese and seasonings.
- After cheese is completely melted, add cooked macaroni.
- Pour mixture into casserole dish and bake 30 min at 350 degrees.
