Bacon Dressing Recipe

How to make it

  • Cut bacon into small pieces and fry until crisp. Mix together into a bowl the egg, salt, sugar, vinegar and water. Pour into pan with bacon and cook until thickened. Cool slightly before pouring over the washed endive.

    My grandmoms friend always made this over lettuce. She would have loved endive! She use to put it on warm it was called wilted salad. It was yummy. Thanks for posting
