How to make it

  • sift the flour and salt into a bowl and stir in the yeast. make a well in the middle, add the water and oil and mix into a soft dough.
  • turn out onto a floured surface and knead for 10mins or until smooth and elastic, then put into a lightly oiled bowl. cover and leave to rise in a warm place for 1hr or untill doubled in size. meanwhile, line a large baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
  • knead the dough lightly, then roll out thinly on a floured surface to make a rectangle.
  • chop the ham. spread the tomato and chilli sauce over the dough. sprinkle with ham, cheese and oregano.
  • roll up tightly like a swiss roll and cut into 16 slices. place the pieces of dough on the baking tray. cover and leave to rise for 30mins. meanwhile preheat oven to 230oC.
  • bake in the center of the oven for 8-10 mins, or until well risen and golden brown. serve warm or leave to cool on a wire rack .......enjoy =)
