Underground Orange Pie

- Yield: 2 (9") cheesecakes shopping list
- 4 packages (8 oz) cream cheese, softened (for best results, do not use reduced fat) shopping list
- 1 package(3 oz) orange flavored gelatin shopping list
- 1 package (16 oz) vanilla CANDIQUIK® Coating shopping list
- 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate flavored pudding shopping list
- 1 package (16 oz) chocolate CANDIQUIK® Coating shopping list
- 2 containers(8 oz) whipped topping, thawed shopping list
- 2(9 inch)chocolate pie crusts (or graham cracker crusts) shopping list
How to make it
- Yield: 2 Cheesecakes
- 1. Melt both Chocolate and Vanilla CANDIQUIK® Coating according to directions on package. Set the Chocolate CANDIQUIK to the side for a few minutes.
- 2. In a large bowl, blend 2 packages softened cream cheese, Vanilla CANDIQUIK, and orange gelatin with an electric mixer until well blended.
- 3. Fold in 1 container of whipped topping and mix until well blended.
- 4. Carefully spoon half of mixture into one crust and half into the other crust; set aside.
- 5. In another large bowl, beat remaining 2 packages of cream cheese, Chocolate CANIDQUIK, and chocolate pudding with an electric mixer until well blended.
- 6. Fold in remaining container of whipped topping and mix until well blended.
- 7. Carefully spoon half of mixture on top of orange filling in one crust and half into the other crust.
- 8. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish as desired.
- OPTIONAL: Draw spider web with white icing or melted Vanilla CandiQuik® Coating.
