Green Chile And Chicken Bake

- 1 Lb Boneless chicken breasts -Diced into cubes shopping list
- 1/8 Teaspoon cumin shopping list
- 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Chile de Arbol pepper shopping list
- 1/8 Teaspoon Mexican oregano shopping list
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt or to taste shopping list
- 1/8 Teaspoon white pepper or to taste shopping list
- 4 Oz. cream cheese (or 1/2 block) shopping list
- 1/3 to 1/2 Cup Half and Half shopping list
- 4 Oz. Can Diced Green Chiles shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons oil shopping list
- 3/4 Cup Shredded Monterrey cheese shopping list
How to make it
- 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat oil in skillet. Place chicken in bowl and add first 3 seasonings to chicken. Mix chicken well. Add chicken to oil and fry until golden brown on all sides. Remove from pan with slotted spoon and place into an 8 x 8 baking dish.
- 2.Add cream cheese to same pan with juices from chicken. Slowly stir, add green chilies and half and half. Add salt and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- 3.Pour mixture over chicken. Spread cheese over chicken. Bake in over for 20-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
