Crock-Pot Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic

- 3 lbs. chicken legs and thighs shopping list
- 40 cloves of garlic, peeled shopping list
- 1/3 c. chicken stock shopping list
- 2 Tbs. olive oil shopping list
- 2 Tbs. water shopping list
- 2-4 sprigs fresh thyme shopping list
- fresh ground black pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Brown chicken in a skillet over med.-high heat, working in batches.
- Place browned chicken in a 4-6 qt. crock-pot.
- Scatter the garlic cloves over the top.
- Pour in stock, oil, and water. Season with black pepper and add the sprigs of thyme whole.
- Set the crock pot to Hi for 1 hour.
- Reduce heat to low and continue to cook for 3 to 4 more hours.
