Beginner Level Oatmeal Raisin Bread

- 2 Cups whole wheat flour shopping list
- 2 Cups rolled oats shopping list
- 2 Cups buttermilk shopping list
- 1 1/2 Cups raisins shopping list
- 1 Cup firmly packed light brown sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs (always use large eggs, unless otherwis designated) shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons baking soda shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons baking powder shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Generously grease 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Combine ingredients thoroughly. Spoon into pan, filling just until 3/4 full, to allow for rising during baking.
- Bake until toothpick inserted in center of loaf comes out clean, about 1 hour. Remove from the pan and place on a wire rack to cool.

Now imagine this... It's cold out... rainy or snowy.. a cracklin fire easy chair with a 'snuggly pup or litty and this with a mug of hot coffee/tea...mmmmm HIGH FIVE FORKS!!! :)
