- 2 deep dish pie shells shopping list
- 9 eggs shopping list
- 1 c chop deli ham (finely chopped) shopping list
- 1/2 c cooked crisp bacon (crumbled) shopping list
- 1/2 c chopped fresh baby spinich shopping list
- 2 c colby/monterey jack cheese (finely shredded kind) shopping list
- 1 c bella sliced mushsrooms (finely chopped) shopping list
- 2 tbsp green onion (tops and chive) finely chopped shopping list
- 1 small heavy whipped cream shopping list
- 1 c half and half shopping list
- 2 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 tsp each salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400
- Pierce sides and bottom of crusts with fork
- place on cookie sheet
- cook at 400 for 10 minutes set aside leaving on cookie sheet
- cook bacon til crisp. crumble place 1/2 in each pie crust
- Place 1/2 of cheese on top of bacon in each pie crust
- In large bowl mix:
- all other ingredients, accept leave 1/2 nutmeg for top of pies
- Blend all ingredients with whisk til completeley blended. Pour 1/2 mixture on each pie crust. Top with remaining nutmeg.
- Bake at 325 for 30-40 minutes (keep on cookie sheet)
- or until knife poked in center comes out clean.
- Let set for 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve with canned or fresh fruit and a lettuce salad
