How to make it

  • Boil turkey carcass in large pan for several hours (until meat falls off easily
  • Strain broth
  • Paying close attention to small bones
  • Pour broth into crockpot
  • Add turkey back into broth
  • Add leftover green beans
  • Add carrots
  • Cooked bacon
  • Stuffing (I make my stuffing with sausage so it is already added)
  • Add cooked sausage ( if not already added with stuffing)
  • 2 onions chopped
  • Garlic and pepper to taste
  • cook on high (depending on type of crockpot, let cook for 4 hours)
  • Add noodles and cook another 30-60 min
  • Serve with garlic bread or any of your favorite rolls
  • Enjoy!

My Grandmother, never threw anything away, she frowned one year when I let the dog have the skeleton remains of the Thanksgiving dinner...Learned my lesson very quickly.

There is just always something to look for in what people would deem throw away...Thank-you for this life lesson reminder.

    Wishing you a good day.

    Kind Regards

    Joyce
