Holiday Herb Turkey Baste

This is a basic herb baste one may want to try when they roast their turkey
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened (1 stick) shopping list
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried basil shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage shopping list
How to make it
- Blend butter with remaining ingredients.
- Prepare turkey for roasting, as desired.
- Rub half the herb mixture under skin of turkey.
- Cook turkey according to your favorite method, basting with remainder of the herb mixture every half hour until done.
