Another Stuffing Recipe

- 1 cup macadamia nits shopping list
- 1 cup pistachio nuts shopping list
- 1 cup walnuts shopping list
- 1 cup slivered almonds shopping list
- 1 pound spicy pork sausage shopping list
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter shopping list
- 2 cups chopped yellow onion shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups thinly sliced celery shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups peeled, diced carrots shopping list
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic shopping list
- 1 (16 oz) packages dry bread stuffing mix shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dried sage shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 5 cups chicken stock shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Butter a large baking dish
- Spread nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet, and bake 5 to 10 minutes, stirring often, until lightly toasted
- Place sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, and cook until evenly brown
- Drain and set aside
- In the same skillet, melt butter and cook the onion,celery, carrots and garlic until tender
- In a large bowl toss together the dry stuffing mix, roasted nuts, sausage and vegies
- Season with sage, salt and pepper
- Mix in 3 cups chicken stock
- Gradually add more chicken stock as needed to make the mixture evenly moist
- Transfer to prepared baking dish Bake for 25 minutes until crisp and golden brown
- You can also just stuff the turkey with this
