Sweet And Sour Dogs

- 1 pound frankfurters, cut into 2 inch lengths shopping list
- 4 tablespoons oil shopping list
- 1 onion, coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1 green pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 cup pineapple chunks with juice shopping list
- 2 small tomatoes, peeled, seeded & quartered shopping list
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry vermouth shopping list
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Cook hot dogs for 10 minutes in boiling water.
- Heat oil in large skillet and add onion, green pepper, pineapple andjuice, and tomatoes. Cook until well mixed and heated through.
- Mix cornstarch with a little water to make a paste. Mix in skillet withvermouth and vinegar. Stir until smooth.
- Mix in drained hot dogs and simmer for 5 minutes.

Yum, and easy to convert to veg too with tofu dogs! I'd cut way back on the oil and use veg stock for vermouth for allergies but |^|
