CHICKEN PARMESAN ON A BUN

Exactly what the title describes, and since most chicken parm is served on a bed of pasta, there is pasta in the sandwich
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts shopping list
- 1/2 bottle of Italian salad dressing shopping list
- 1 cup parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup Italian style bread crumbs shopping list
- 4 cooked lasagna noodles shopping list
- Aprox. 1 cup prepared spaghetti sauce; divided shopping list
- 4 slices processed mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 4 sausage buns shopping list
How to make it
- Marinate chicken in salad dressing for about an hour.
- Mix cheese and bread crumbs.
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Dip chicken breasts into dry mixture and put in a greased baking dish.
- Bake un covered for30-45 minutes flipping once, or until juices run clear.
- While chicken is cooking put spaghetti sauce in a pot, add prepared lasagna noodles and heat thoroughly.
- To assemble. Open bun
- Place 1 sauced lasagna noodle on the bottom of the bun.
- Add chicken breast,
- top with about 1/4 cup pasta sauce.
- Add cheese slice & top with bun.
