On this board the CPU is the INTEL 80C451 (code compatible with the very diffused 8051) which features a wide range of internal peripherals that enchance the board functionalities.
Its modularity makes this card the ideal component to build distributed logic architectures provided with powerful I/O and great elaboration speed. In addition, the good price/performance rate allows to use it to solve the automation problems of low and average complexity.
Program development and set up may begin by using the only GPC® 451 itself, because the board has already installed all the hardware resources needed for the basic operations and can be easily enhanced through several software development packages that ease its use. It is enough to connect the on board serial port to a Persoal Computer to operate comfortably with the powerful board resources.
Its exterme modularity makes this card the ideal component to build distributed logic architectures provided with powerful I/O and great elaboration speed. For its completeness GPC® 451 often is enough by itself to solve most of problems in machine management or average complexity automation. Should the User need auxiliary functions, then he/she can refer to the wide serie of peripheral cards available in the ABACO® industrial listing.
