The affected users are able to access Google Voice, but are seeing error messages, high latency, and/or other unexpected behavior.

Incident affecting Google Voice

Sep 5, 2023	4:24 PM UTC	Upon further investigation, our engineering teams believe that the scope is very limited and/or no customers were impacted. Our engineers are actively working to rollback a change made. We do not have an ETA for mitigation at this point. If you have questions or feel that you may be impacted, please open a case with the Support Team and we will work with you until the issue is resolved. No further updates will be provided here. We thank you for your patience while we're working on resolving the issue.
Sep 5, 2023	2:38 PM UTC	Our team is continuing to investigate this issue. We will provide an update by Sep 5, 2023, 4:30 PM UTC with more information about this problem. Thank you for your patience. The affected users are able to access Google Voice, but are seeing error messages, high latency, and/or other unexpected behavior. Google Voice users might encounter error messages when trying to upload large media across all platforms (Web, Android, IOS). Some files between 1mb and 2mb will fail to upload. Users can reduce the file size of attachments to 1mb or below which will enable image/file upload.

The affected users are able to access Google Voice, but are seeing error messages, high latency, and/or other unexpected behavior. Google Voice users might encounter error messages when trying to upload high-resolution images and other large media. Files above 2mb will fail to upload Users can reduce file size of images to 2mb or below which will enable image/file upload.
