Two or more of the products in your product data use the same values for the GTIN [gtin]
, multipack [multipack]
, and condition [condition]
attributes. This could be because you have one product listed twice in your product data or because you are using the same GTIN for 2 different products. If targeting the same language and country with multiple feeds, ensure that there are no duplicate GTINs across those feeds. To ensure that we can correctly identify your products, you’ll need to remove duplicate products, provide correct unique GTINs, and fix any errors in the multipack [multipack]
and condition [condition]
attributes.
This issue (Duplicate value: GTIN [gtin]
) also occurs when a merchant submits the same GTIN value for items that should be grouped together using the item group ID [item_group_id]
. These items are the same kind of product but come in different variants such as size and color. Submitting unique GTINs for each variant and adding the item group ID [item_group_id]
attribute ensures that the product and its variants are shown to customers as a group rather than separately.
