When Twilight came out years ago, it was stupid but I wanted my daughter to read something, so I bought it for her. She read it but she never forgave me. I jilted her sense of taste and she began to hate me for it. Slowly I noticed her change. She withdrew, began to wear all dark clothes, and wouldn't talk to me anymore. Looking desperately for a way to connect with my hipster teen, I bought her this book about the music from twilight. She thought it was "ironic" and "so pointless". We laughed and laughed.
