Celebrate Pride with HyperBeard’s Osiel Gómez

This Pride Month, we chatted with Osiel Gómez, the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) at HyperBeard, about his dedication to creating an inclusive, welcoming player community.

Osiel Gómez: As the CXO, I oversee the quality of our games and support our players across many channels to provide the best experience. Our games are a reflection of who we are at HyperBeard. We’re diverse, creative, and fun, so yeah, that’s what we put in the games. You can enjoy being yourself, be free to customize your avatar and your environment, and enjoy the experience of being unique.

Hyperbeard celebrates Pride in many ways, with game updates that represent and encourage the way we celebrate diversity. We’re planning several updates across many of our games, as well as a very special social media campaign for this year, so please stay tuned.

Playing games is a form of self-expression. You put in your name and start playing, so it’s important to make sure you feel represented. The representation in our games continues to grow over time. Every day, we read comments and suggestions from our players in the LGBTQ+ community. We share their feedback with our different game teams to implement changes and make sure people feel heard.

I’m inspired by our player community. Because I’m in touch with our players every day on different communication channels, I get to see posts on social media from people proudly sharing their looks and decorations. And I still remember the day when I was on the Mexico City metro and I saw someone playing Adorable Home; I got the chills. That feeling makes me happy.

To me, it is very important to be surrounded by talented, professional, and diverse people so we can share and learn from each other in a safe space. The team we built, the diversity we have, the ideas we share are all reflected in the games and updates we launch, how successful they are, and how our players enjoy what we do.
