The best app for private diary, from phone and laptop, no subscription and no need to store you private thoughts on an unknown company server to have it synced between my devices (Im using my Dropbox). Simplistic, can export, can attach literally everything to your record, no redundant and annoying features like suggestions, couches or AIs. Can't ask nothing more!

Tested 17 of the top Diary/Journal apps and this is the absolute best among all of them. My only wish would be an option to disable the ability of creating multiple entries / day. I always wish to create 1 / day, (that we can edit, expand as many times we like). Separate entries are hard to navigate, manage and sort, clog up space, etc. Also, in Timeline page, it's extremely strange how we have to scroll upwards to go forward in the days. That's the opposite how any other calendar works.

Thanks for your feedback. You can absolutely just write a single entry per day and edit that one entry as often as you wish - it's how I am using the app myself ;)

I've had this app for about a month, and I absolutely love everything about it, except for the bug that occurs anytime I try to add a list. I use unordered lists very frequently, but I can't use them at all in this app because as soon as I do, it turns everything into a list, then you can't undo it. I end up having to delete the post and do it again without using lists; which is sad. Update: Thank you for the quick response Timo! That seems to have resolved my issue!

Thanks for your review. What you describe sounds like a problem of the Samsung keyboard app, which is known to be very buggy. Please try another keyboard app (like Google Gboard) and the problem will disappear :)
