I recommend changing the dictionary to Google Translate. Then you can save whatever phrases you wish using Google and export them to Google sheets and perhaps then Anki. Even without these modifications, it is a very useful subtitle app that can auto pause every few moments. I am using it for Japanese videos like Nakata University, which is very fast and hard to understand without this help. Excellent app.

I love the concept of the app, and I think it has a lot of room for progress. My main problem is that the video keeps freezing, and I have to set the resolution to the lowest in order to be able to watch at all. Also, I believe that "transliteration" feature is crucial for character-based languages like Chinese (好: "hǎo"), like VideoLingo has done, so really hoping for it 😁 love the repetition feature and Google search feature, I think this kind of app is future of language learning!

Good App but my problem with this app is that it struggles to translate the foreign language. I have also noticed that it sometimes(most of the time if i'm being honest) it focuses more on the on the background music than the actual words being spoken. It doesn't translate some sentences and leaves it in the foreign language. Good overall

LingoTube is an app that helps you learn languages using subtitled videos. LingoTube is not a translation app, and if a video has subtitles, LingoTube can use Google Translate to translate it into your preferred language, but the quality of the translation will be affected by Google Translate.
