I retract my statement about subscription. Because it does not require one. However, as they said to me,not still does require one to make a purchase in order to save, play, or share the video once it has been repaired. What you get for free is ; a preview of the repaired video, and the ability to repair again. That is it. These apps really should be more upfront about what they truly do, rather than have people waste their HD space. It does work as advertised.

Premium Features is a one-time purchase. It's not a subscription. With Premium Features you can recover as many corrupted files as you want so all your future phone videos are protected.

I downloaded this app because I needed to obtain video footage to a corrupted file on my phone (which happened due to lack of space). For this app, you need to not only have the corrupted file, but also an un-corrupted one for it to pull necessary data from. It managed to repair my corrupted video without issue, thankfully. But unfortunately, this was too good to be true though, as it then asks you to pay £2.99 for their "premium" which then allows you to download the repaired file you want. :/

This does work. It will replace the damaged video header with a good one. Unfortunately, in my case, only the first two minutes of an 8 minute video were recovered, probably because my phone reused part of the memory for other pictures or videos. You can preview the repaired file for free, but if you want to save it, you need to pay the $6 for the app.
