The app is rather frustrating to use, primarily because of outdated and glitchy UX. One example of that is how a profoundly obnoxious, non-removable giant bubble will constantly break your flow. It gets superimposed over your items when scrolling the feed, which will be every few seconds as a power user. Inoreader is the best agregator on PC, but as a mobile app you'd only pick this over something like Feedly if you want to be constantly annoyed and distracted.

Cannot change default browser that app uses to open stories. I have several browsers installed on phone, none of them set to default, yet the app always opens stories in chrome, which I do not want. There are no options to change this behavior, nor is any choice given to select which browser one wishes to open a story with.

Needs better text to speech. You can't rewind or fast forward so if you miss something while doing the dishes or whatever, you have to restart the whole episode. Maddening.

What's new

Fixed a problem with offline sections intermittently showing connection errors when the connection is poor.
Important! If you have been experiencing freezes while opening an article, this should be fixed now. It was not caused by Inoreader or Android update, but was an experiment ran by the Chromium team on a small percentage of users. Inoreader uses a component called WebView to render articles, and a now-disable experimental flag in this component was causing Inoreader to freeze.
