Finally came back to Goodreads after 7 years of not using it, only to find in all that time they didn't improve the site at all, and the app is even worse. Pretty sure a high schooler could design a more functional app. Uodate: I'm still using it, but constantly amazed how few functions the app is capable of. It's in dire need of an overhaul.

Made an account, verified it by email, went back on app and just get indefinite "verifying..." page. Closed it and now i can open it and sign in to navigate to most pages but almost every step of the way is "something went wrong" with no explanation and sometimes straight up just crashes if i for example try to add a book. Tried clearing cache, reinstalling the app. But it is still the same buggy mess it seems a lot of other users deal with. How this is the number 9 app for reading baffles me.

Goodreads is a wonderful application for anyone who enjoys books! I came here to write this for the sole purpose of giving a suggestion I was thinking about. This app would be so much better with a calendar feature for several reasons! This calendar feature could be used to review previous book time frames. Or it could be used to see average books per week or month or counting those per month. Also tracking how many the user reads simultaneously.
