The Official Star Trek: Lower Decks Idle Game!
Finally, after yet another tedious duty roster, the Lower Decks crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos is ready to party at a Zebulon Sisters concert! Tendi's even more excited, as this'll be her first Chu Chu Dance! But first, they need to get through routine training exercises on the holodeck, which Boimler has been entrusted to organize. Boimler? With power? When has that ever been good?
Impatient to get to the dance, the crew try to end the simulation only to find the Cerritos’ computer has been hijacked by rogue AI Badgey. He’s locked them in the holodeck and deactivated all safety protocols – so now Boimler, Tendi, Rutherford and Mariner must work through Star Trek stories, both familiar and new, so they can return to the real world. But be careful – if they don’t succeed, they’ll die for real. And even worse: they’ll miss the party!

I love the cartoons & theming, of course. I have never played many mobile games outside of solitaire. So, I was a bit amazed at the amount of ads. The ads were mostly entertaining, but they could get repetitive at times. At other times, the game reminded me of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt where they were imprisoned underground & had to turn a crank or the world would end.

This game would have gotten a higher score from me except I'm sick and tired of the obvious way they benefit their ads more than their players. I can't tell you how many times I have watched an ad to get the reward and the game resets and it only happens on certain ads. Or I try to hit the little x and it sends me to download the game and then the game resets and I lose the reward. If you'd fix the reset issue I would give this game 5 Stars I don't care about the ads.

Adds aren't frequent or unprompted. If I'm served an add it's because I clicked a button to do that. Love that. But adds do have a little popup that says reward granted with but there's still no way to quit the add for ages. And the add will randomly open the app store unprompted. And when you finally get back to the game it's like, welcome back you were gone for two and a half minutes. Which seems rude.
