Dropout is awesome as a company, and i love all the people involved very much. The app works, ive not had any crashes or periods where it hasn't. The app is not super optimized, however, and lacks some features. The 'resume' tab also seems broken, and no matter how many times I watch something through to the end, it keeps being on my 'resume' tab. Love the company. Love the people. The app is fine.

Dropout's content is spectacular, and the subscription is well worth the price -- if you have a computer to access it with. the option to download episodes to watch offline functions, but if you attempt to access it outside of coverage, the episodes simply will not load. Android controls for Bluetooth don't function nor is there banner notification with a pause button present. Obnoxious to have to fully unlock my phone and open the app if I want to pause what I'm listening to.

The content for this app is amazing and totally worth the subscription. The player itself is okay but subpar. It is missing a few key features especially if you consume a lot of this content more like a podcast: - it can be hard to find the continue watching section when returning to the app - The app doesn't respond to external signals to stop playing: e.g. when you get a phone call it interrupts the audio but keeps playing silently in the background - no sleep timer - no audio-only option
