The absolute worst thing about this game is the bodychecking. The game just turns into chaos where check after check is thrown without anyone being able to hold the puck for more than s fraction of a second. The previous update seemed to fix this, but the new one turned the hitting back up to 11, making the game much less fun and borderline unplayable.

This game is fun and easy to pickup. You play against AI teams, not real people. There are no penalties, offside, or icing calls; just straight up get the puck in the net. At the beginning, most teams are built with exactly the same players, there's not much variety. Some things I'd like to see added are custom goal horn sounds and arena special effects (like lights) when scoring. The ads are overly obnoxious; after every game, even if you turn down the "bonus" or "instant pack open".

On the surface, the game looks sweet and controls surprisingly well. As the difficulty scales up, there's just too much happening with one button to keep enjoying yourself. Did you want to pass? Sorry, the shoot button is the same button. Nice bodycheck. Oh wait, you also changed characters and can't get to the puck in time. In the early casual stages it's fun but once the difficulty ramps up, it's beyond frustrating. And don't get me started on ads. Every game has an unskippable ad. Uninstall.
