This is like having someone to distill the load of junk results to only what you want. Ask for a recipe, and it lists the recipe, without a life story. It provides sources, so you can evaluate answers, an invaluable trait other apps lack. Calling it an AI is a stretch because it clearly has no understanding of what it's saying, and it's easy to get it to produce nonsense. However, as a search assistant I think it's excellent. But, the $20 per month fee for Pro is far too high to justify.

Perplexity AI is a great search app with quick, accurate answers. It's awesome for research, calculations, and image understanding. But there's a big problem: touching outside the text box or switching apps deletes everything you've typed. This is super frustrating, especially for longer queries or when multitasking. I like using Perplexity, but this issue might make me switch to another app if it's not fixed soon. Adding auto-save or an undo button would really help!

It is one of the best search engines I have encountered, even surpassing Bing Copilot. However, it could be improved by keeping related links visible and clickab6 as they appear for the initial search results. Unfortunately, these links disappear after performing a subsequent search, which can be inconvenient if you wish to view two related links in succession without having to search again. Hope future updates take care of it.
