Android System WebView Beta

Didn't fix the problem. Selected it as default, uninstalled previous version, restarted phone multiple times, and permutations thereof. Can't get through a full song or article. Crash bang boom. Every time. Better type this review quickly! I don't want to give Apple my money, but what is the alternative? A phone that I can't use apps on??! Where is the proactive customer communication?

Had the recent issue where all apps stopped working that used webview. I took the standard update the next day, which was better, but still had issues. For instance, if I was in gmail, the last email content would overlay the email listings partially, blocking all navigation. I had to close the app and reopen to proceed. This beta version seems to work better. No issues so far.

No troubles with any app that used it may be beta but is really good to use it sometimes seems necessary to to put the default Chrome to sleep, that sadly should be an open choice that doesn't force you to disable Chrome 😁👍
