I've been having a lot of fun with this. It can be incredibly frustrating at times because an OB can tank your whole run, but I've been playing through it and getting different types of discs that help when I go back to try and improve my best score and get 3 stars. I don't feel it's too grindy and I haven't paid a cent for anything. Ads also only pop up after finishing a full course and never in the middle. I haven't found them so intrusive.

Early game is solid with feeling of progression, which makes it feel worse once you get the basic unlocks. The way it ranks you in multiplayer matches is demoralizing. You only get points if you're in first place among randomly chosen players (including higher rank. Otherwise you lose points. If you go a couple matches without finishing first, you lose all your progress. The scores it expects of you in single player are also absurd if you want more than the first star. Maybe I'm just bad though?

The game is quite awesome. Like most, games have issues, so I'm not here to talk about small stuff. The reason for 3 stars is the lack of caring to fix things in the game that have been messed up for yeeeears. 1)fix pro tour - enough said. 2) The latest edition season has limits, and also no they want you to do a monthly sub on top of season pass, yet limit your rewards for playing. 3) rewards are glitches 4) people buying bag slots with 0 money. Etc. Quick to take your $ but not quick to fix.
