The mobile app is extremely slow. The desktop version works fine. My mobile app is on the latest version V2.17.1. When I open the app it takes forever to load, and then when I try to click on any message or channel it also takes very long time. If you are using mattermost for work, you cannot rely on communciating with your team during emergencies. Not sure if the issue is dependent on which phone you have as I havent heard much of this issue from others with iPhone (i got a samsung s22).

Hi there, we are working on implementing mobile performance metrics https://mattermost.atlassian.net/browse/MM-58139. Once this is released in an upcoming release and we're able to collect data on mobile performance issues, we'll then be able to better analyze and implement performance improvements for the mobile app.

Recently my phone has started notifying me that Mattermost crashes frequently and it wants to put the app in deep sleep. The phone and app are both up to date, so I don't know what's wrong. Hopefully, that will stop happening because I need to get notifications and can't have it in deep sleep.

Hi there, is the fixed in the latest dot release version v2.17.1? If not, can you help share more details on the issue that you're experiencing, including reproduction steps and your Mattermost server version? Please open a new issue at https://github.com/mattermost/mattermost-mobile/issues.

below budget Slack. pretty alarming how pared back some of the expected features are. no huddle option, can't record videos, screen-sharing is subpar, text formatting is incredibly finicky and half of the time it doesn't work. reminders suck. I have to manually adjust my online status every time because client application gets stuck on AWAY. just use slack. AVOID MATTERMOST
