Welcome to the E.T. STARSHIP digital model webpage!

Now you can 3D print your own E.T. Starship at home at any scale you choose. The default scale yields a starshp at an 8" middle ring diameter. At this scale the model will fit most medium to small sized 3D printers. Upscale the model to exactly 126% to acheive the identical size you see as my physical resin model kit.
The E.T. starship digital model (STL FORMAT) is composed of:
- 3 SEPARATELY POSED mini E.T. figures
- Upper Antenna
- Antenna cone array
- Main Hull (features pass-through windows for easy lighting)
- MIDDLE RING - contains 9 openings for the engines, pass through holes for LEDs, pass through holes for wiriing from the engine bells, etc.. Print hollow to allow for a light-weight part.
- Language ring which includes the upper and lower vents all attached to an internal double walled LED ring mounts!! All the engineering has been done for you! Also included is a version of this WITHOUT the light mount rings.
- 9 Engines (print them as one piece!!) Textured and non-textured versions included. They feature a pass-through channel for LED wiring. Again, I thought of everything you need!
- 9 Engine bottom covers (install your LED in each eachine, glue on fly-screen onto the round coverplates and glue them in position!
- BOTTOM HULL (you can print this either with the texture or without the texture).
- BOTTOM ENGINE
- LANDING RAMP
- LANDING RAMP SUPPORT BEAMS
- LANDING GEAR X3 (files include separated landing gear also if you want to assemble on your own with metal rods, etc.)
- **BONUS flight versions of the landing feet and perimeter engine bells.
Some features include:
- LED and WIRE channels in all the components. Pass-throughs for wiring fascitates easy electronics installation
- The language ring features in internal rail system for LED strip lightinn installation.
- The middle ring features a wire pass-through for each individual LED passing from the engine to the internal cavity.
- The upper tower has window pass-throughs making it easy to light.
- Every single window in the dome is a pass-through, so they can be easily illuminated.
- The interior is fully hollow allowing ample room for electronics, fiber optics, wiring etc...
- Flight version of the E.T. starship sub-folder includes alternate engines, feet and lower hull.
- The engines and lower hull are TEXTURED.
The default scale (printed at 100%) renders a model with an 8 inch wide (203.2mm) upper dome. This makes, with the 9 engines installed,, a full circumference of 259mm (over 10 inches wide) and 348mm (13.7") full height. This translates to a 1:48th scale model. I scaled it on the smaller size to allow this project to be printed on medium to small sized 3D printers.
If you want to reproduce the scale of my physical model, you will want to increase the scale to exactly 126%.I have instructions on this here: LEARN TO PRECISELY SCALE your 3D print model to standard scale ratios.

Extra steps were taken to introduce proper textures to the bells and bottom hull pan.
