Requesting permission error

I can open the apps but when i go to exercise session and others, i can only pressed request permission and nothing happen. Why ? pleaseee

Which apps specifically, which device or emulator?

the Health Connect Codelab app. I used Android physical device, OPPO to run it. When I click request permission, nothing happen. Im trying to migrate my project from using google fit api to health connect but i dont know how. I only have 1 weeks to do it because i accidently deleted my oauth client id.

This is my java file that i try to migrate to using health connect api. Please help me.

It looks like the Health Connect codelab hasn't been updated yet for Android 14 (if your OPPO device is running Android 14, this would explain the error).

While we fix that, you can use the Health Connect Sample as a reference. The layout/format and code are very similar to the codelab, the only difference is it doesn't walk you through the changes.
