What happens when a suddenly unified Korea invades the United States? Find out for yourself this spring when THQ and Kaos Studios launch their new near-future first-person shooter, Homefront.

Via the game's Twitter account, THQ announced that Homefront will be released on March 8 in North America, March 10 in Australia, and March 11 in the UK and Europe.


Apocalypse Now and Red Dawn screenwriter John Milius penned the Homefront story, and THQ did an amazing job detailing the fictional events that lead up to the 2027 invasion with this all-too-real backstory trailer:




Sharkey says: Wolverines! I loved Red Dawn when I was a kid for its scary-cheesy-awesome plot and action. Here's to hoping Milius' story gives us a worthwhile Homefront campaign. Also: that trailer is seriously spooky.
