Burned by shady panel investment pitches in the past? You're not alone. Even Valve has been the victim of a raw deal or two, but according to the developer, the latest appeal from up-and-coming applied sciences company Aperture Laboratories appears to be the real thing.

In the latest of its many unconventional marketing campaigns, Valve is directing gamers to Aperture Investment Opportunity #1: Panels. See for yourself if you'd like to become an investor below:



And if panels just aren't for you, expect many more investment opportunities from Aperture Science in the weeks ahead as Valve builds to the April 19 multiplatform launch of Portal 2.

"Call your broker, and don't forget to check back next Tuesday for another step in obtaining your Aperture Science license to print money," Valve states on the Portal 2 blog.
