Even though two out of the three downloadable content packs released for Bethesda's award-winning Fallout 3 were plagued by release issues, there's a chance that more will be coming in the future. OXM featured a story which includes quotes from Beth's head PR chap Pete Hines, who said that Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt and Broken Steel have all been "hugely successful."

While Hines wouldn't commit either way, there's a chance there could be more DLC on the way. Money is money, after all.
Whether it's the absolute last one (Broken Steel) remains to be seen. Because it's been hugely successful. Operation Anchorage vastly exceeded our expectation. It was like "holy shit, we did how many?" And the Pitt was really successful, after a bit of a false start.

But Broken Steel is the one that. when we first announced all three, this is the one that everyone has been bugging us the most about, because it removes the ending and changes the level cap and lets you play more in that world. I think it's going to be hugely, hugely popular.
This lends itself nicely to the news we reported of a potential fourth DLC pack that may already be in the works.

Razzing futuristic choppers in Broken Steel may not be the end.

Bryn says: It's highly unlikely given the confirmed success of the DLC so far that Beth wouldn't want to keep on trucking with at least one more pack. The real question is surely if Bethesda wants to get the existing DLC packs shoved onto the PlayStation 3 as fast as possible. Just think of all the dollars it's missing out on with the Sony crowd right now.

Also, how about a Wii version of Fallout 3? That could be... interesting.
